Warranty Info
Thank you for choosing Frames N Panes for all your window restoration problems. We believe in our products and services and are pleased to offer our customers the following warranty.
Frames N Panes Ltd and our franchisees offer subject to the conditions below a 5 year warranty for both our commercial and residential customers. The warranty period begins upon the completion of the Frames N Panes restoration services. The warranty is fully transferable if you decide to sell your home, however we do require the original warranty card or receipt of service.
All claims must be made to the Frames N Panes franchisee in your service area within 30 days of discovery of any damage or defect.
MOISTURE CONTROL
Please be advised that extreme fluctuations of outside or inside temperature or humidity may cause the moisture to re appear for a very brief time. If this does happens the Frames N Panes venting system will expel the moisture and the window will dry out in a few days
If the moisture re appears and stay for more than a week there might be a problem with the Frames N Panes vent or other issues with caulking. In this event please call our office to schedule a FREE re service of your windows.
Frames N Panes has a very high success rate with our moisture removal system, however we do on occasion come across a window for whatever reason will not dry out.
If visible water droplets or condensation remain on the window for more than 12 weeks after a Frames N Panes franchisee has performed our moisture removal service Frames N Panes will re service your window up to two(2) times allowing for additional "healing" times in between both re servicing. If we are still unable to dry out the window Frames N Panes will offer to apply the full charge of the servicing towards a comparable piece of replacement glass. After the full price of the previous charge has been applied to the new piece of glass the customer will be responsible to pay for the remaining balance of the bill. The price difference will be disclosed to the customer before the replacement glass is ordered.
In the event that breakage should occur due to a franchisees negligence during the restoration process, the quoted fee for the service is still charged to the customer and payable at the conclusion of the work. Frames N Panes or a company we recommend will then supply and install a replacement piece of glass at no additional charge.
In the event that we clean and remove the moisture from the window but the clarity is not as good as quoted on the estimate form the customer will be given the option to:
*Any and all refunds will be at the sole discretion of the Frames N Panes franchisee. All credits and refunds will be prorated from the original date of service.
*Choice of replacement glass will be at the sole discretion of the Frames N Panes franchisee. When possible a window comparable to the original window will be installed. Higher quality glass or different glass can be installed at the customer request, but it will be the customers responsibility to pay the difference in price.
PVC FRAME REPAIR
Frames N Panes offers a five (5) year warranty on all our PVC repair services. If by chance your repair fails or our dye peals in this time frame, a Frames N Panes franchisee will come out and re service your window free of charge. If the window manufacturer offers a longer warranty Frames N Panes will match their warranty.
If we are not able to fix a problem to what was agreed upon on the request for service form we will not bill you for the work completed.
If the color does not match 100%. Frames N Panes will re make the color and re-dye the area in question.
If scaffolding or another type of lift is needed to complete the job. The cost of setting up and removing the scaffolding or renting the necessary lifts will be at the customers expense.
